Valid prescription required for contact lenses

You hereby certify that you have a valid prescription for the contact lenses that you are ordering. You represent and warrant to Westpoint Optical by placing an order that your information you enter into the website is valid and true and matches exactly your prescription as provided by your eye care provider. You further certify that you will renew your prescription in strict accordance with your eye care providers suggested regime. You understand that we will not fulfill your order unless you have a valid prescription. You hereby consent to our contacting your eye care provider, or providing a copy of your original prescription to us, if necessary, to verify your prescription information and any other necessary information.

General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions (which include the returns policy, intellectual property policy and privacy policy) are applicable to any use of this website (www.westpointoptical.ca) and to any agreements concluded between you and us through the Site. These terms are not applicable to any product purchased directly from any of the Westpoint Optical stores. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you cannot use this Site and/or buy any products or services through this Site. We may make changes to the Site, these Terms and Conditions of Use, or the policies and conditions that govern the use of the Site at any time. We encourage you to review the Site and the General Terms and Conditions periodically for any updates or changes. Your continued access or use of the Site shall be deemed to be your acceptance of these changes and of the reasonableness of these standards for notice of changes.

In order to make a purchase on this Website you must be a registered account holder or checkout as a guest. In either case, you must be the age of majority in your province or territory of residence and will need to provide Westpoint Optical with certain personal information so that your order can be processed. You are responsible to ensure the continued accuracy of this information. All prices listed are in Canadian currency and all charges will be processed in Canadian currency. Prices which may be displayed or advertised on the Website or through any other electronic communications from Westpoint Optical are subject to confirmation, may not include shipping fees and applicable sales tax or custom duties and are subject to change without notice at Westpoint Optical’s sole discretion. Shipping and taxes will be displayed at checkout prior to your final order submission, but are subject to change. Westpoint Optical reserves the right to limit the quantities of certain products which you can purchase through the Website and some items viewed on the Website may be unavailable for purchase online. Merchandise in your “shopping bag” is not reserved. Westpoint Optical may cancel orders and refund customers’ payment because of pricing errors, unavailability of inventory or for any other reason. Payment for your order will be processed through the website at the time of the purchase. Time required to ship the product will also depend on the product availability, in the event the product is required to be ordered from the supplier, the supplier may usually take two to three weeks (or longer depending on the product availability) to deliver the product to Westpoint Optical. In event there is additional time required for the product to be shipped Westpoint Optical will try its best to promptly advise you. Westpoint Optical will not be responsible for any delays in processing orders. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Orders can be shipped to addresses outside Canada on best effort basis but not to post office boxes or freight forwarding addresses. Shipments cannot be delivered to post office boxes. Shipping windows are estimates and delivery times are not guaranteed as orders may experience unexpected delays. Westpoint Optical will not be responsible for any delays in delivery. Merchandise purchased through this Website may not be purchased or used for any purpose that is unlawful, misleading or deceptive. Orders which circumvent or abuse shipping thresholds, available complimentary shipping promotions or any other promotional offers may be refused or cancelled at Westpoint Optical’s sole option. Westpoint Optical may cancel or refuse to process orders that it reasonably believes include merchandise intended to be re-sold by the purchaser. Further, Westpoint Optical may refuse any order that it reasonably believes has been placed by a customer who has violated these terms and conditions in the past.

If you have ordered a product by mistake, you may cancel the order within 24 hours of placing the order by calling Westpoint Optical on 1-289-327-3443 with the business hours or sending an email to info@westpointoptical.ca, where we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request. Provided that it is not marked as “Final Sale”, merchandise purchased through this Website (excluding gift cards) may be returned in accordance with Westpoint Optical’s Return Policy. Merchandise may be purchased using one of the listed options on the website. For security reasons and to prevent fraud: (i) Westpoint Optical may suspend the use of all or some gift cards on this website and (ii) all orders for products placed through this Website will only be accepted by Westpoint Optical if the name and address to which the credit card is to be billed corresponds to the name and address that is registered with the purchaser’s credit card provider. If the information does not correspond or if Westpoint Optical reasonably suspects a fraudulent transaction, your order may be declined by Westpoint Optical even though the transaction may have been pre-authorized by your financial institution. If this happens, the dollar amount of the order may not be available for other use on your credit card until it is credited back to your account, which may take between three to five business days (more for international credit cards). Westpoint Optical may in its sole discretion, and without any liability, restrict or terminate your access to this Website at any time without prior notice. Westpoint Optical is an authorized online distributor for all items sold on www.westpointoptical.ca. Some items may be unavailable or have a limitation on the quantity you may purchase. This may be displayed in the quantity dropdown on the product page. However, there may be instances that the website may not be updated in a timely manner and the product may no longer be available while it may display as being available on the website. In such events, we will try our best to process your order at the earliest possible and will advise you of any delays in the product being shipped to you.

We have made every effort to display the colours of our products that appear online as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors and settings vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be completely accurate.
